Two days ago after landing at the Bus depot of Andheri West from the Infinity mall in Versova after reading a comic “Hellboy”. It’s a series of short stories which had ‘Right Hand of Doom’, like the Batman-Black and White graphic novel. I never thought that the HellBoy novels were good. Before going to Infiniti, I just came back to Mumbai from Pune after meeting TM and attending a Christian Rock Concert-which I could have enjoyed more if wasn’t tired, because I was standing for two hours in the train (lot of people go to Pune for the weekend) and walked around M.G Road and played pool( ah!! I won TM). “btw TM I had a premium, premium time man, I enjoyed Pune. We eXtremes should probably get together in Goa.”

and Yeah…back to the bus depot, I thought I could cross over to Andheri East through the train bridge ..and I didn’t have a ticket. I was lazy to go to the other common bridge and I thought it would be a good feel if I cross the station’s bridge without buying a ticket . So I went to the station and…….(screech, my mind was out) I landed infront of the the guy who checks for tickets (can these guys read our mind or something) and he asked for my ticket and I acted as if I was searching for my ticket( why did I do that….I know I dont have a ticket and I don’t know Hindi too to convince him that I lost my ticket). So I gave it up and I thought that since I’m caught I’ll rather pay the fine with a little honour(no comments on the honour thing….even I didn’t know why it’d be honourable to pay a fine). The fine was Rs. 258. Should have taken a ticket….it was only 7 bucks.

I’m back…this year, me, even tuf, strong, irresistible, and….and…who am i kidding…it’s the same same ol’ me. The train journey was alright, except that there were some tourists from madagascar(two kids n their dad) who were on their way to Goa. It was like they were the exhibits and the people who were travelling watching them like they are in a musuem. The kids a had a disney work book, which was in french(i thought of joining along with him btw…..it was ‘jue avec des pirates’ or something) and the other guy sitting near me tells me that French is just like English only few words differ and all that crap. After that they point their fingers to their nose and ask them how do they say that in French and they continued to bother those poor chaps.

Landed at Mumbai at around 17 hrs and then dragged Nikhil to ‘Happy Feet’ for the 2030 show….my God!!If it weren’t for the Amigos and Lovelace the movie wouldn’t have been fun. Otherwise the movie was OK. The animation was good and they didn’t waste time animating the humans. They merged the real picture with the animation. It was Neat.

I take this wonderful oppurtunity at the time when supposedly Christ was born to wish you all a very Joyous Christmas. I ‘ve always cherished the christmas holidays….even if it is not actually happy……..well atleast when you watch a lot of teevee ,you feel happy. Wish things could get better everyday like this happy feeling.
Well the train journey was …interesting……well luckily only one eunach came and I gave him/her a ten rupee note as a sign of “GO GO GO….dont touch me”….talked a lot …one of my friends cousin sister and his friend was with us during the journey. We whiled away time (26 hrs) by talking, playing ‘chi koo ba’(it’s ‘rock paper scissors’)…I was actually getting good at the game and another game …i dont remember the game’s name,7 packs(cards),Ass..loser becomes an arse(cards again)……..The friends cousin sister is a fashion technoligist…therefore we got a insight to the bollywood…..she claims that everybody knows that….but did u know that it is supposedly understood by everyone that Shah Rukh Khan is a bisexual and she told about the models and many things like that….hmm I tht he was a happily married guy…My God….Anyway I enjoyed the train trip and it was a lil’ informative and enough gossip for christmas….How are you people?…..hope things are fine at the other end?….me gonna continue watching ‘Band of Brothers’

1 more day to go….then I’ll be on the train to Kerala. In the past 15 years, I’ve never had this feeling of ‘wanting to go home so badly’…previoulsy I’ve I liked it better staying at school/college, even though college sucked then(now when I think about it, it wasn’t so bad at all). I want to go home and probably after two days it’ll get boring at home, but I don’t think I’d like feeling of coming back here. Why is that only I hate Bombay?….I know adjusting is never the problem, it’s only that I don’t want to. Why don’t I want to adjust ?
Anyway….Go home, go attend cousins engagment(which I wish I don’t have to), attend a friends wedding(I got the invitation…yay!!) and I wish I wish Iwish I don’t be approached by any of the Eunachs(higidas I meant….am I being rude? I dunno) on the way home.

Last weekend I read Batman: Dark Victory(contd. of Long Haloween) and saw Kabul Express.

Dark Victory :Story follows after the investigation and the capture of ‘The Holiday’. It begins with funeral of Carmine Falcone and a riot happens in Arkham Asylum where all the convicts escape including ‘Two Face’, except the serial killer Alberto Falcone, The Holiday. Based on his actons Alberto Falcone is released, with the help District Attorney Janice Potter and influence of his brother Mario Falcone who was under exile in Italy and his sister Sofia Falcone who is confined to a wheelchair due her encounter with Catwoman in The Long Halloween, under the condition that does not leave his mansion near Wayne Manor….then a new serial killer is on the loose,’The Hangman‘. As that happens, there also is a war between Sofia Falcone who is out to seek vengenance for her father’s death and Two Face. Over the war between them, death of the Graysons happen, leaving Dick Grayson behind who is adopted by Bruce Wayne after the incident.

I think Batman forever is a lil’ inspired from this book. I liked Dick grayson’s character in this book and this book like it’s predecessor, The Long Halloween has a lot of twist. Good book.

Kabul Express: This is not a bad movie actually, atleast it is better than Dhoom2. Two Indian reporters with the help of a Pakistani, goes to Kabul in search in the hope of getting some breaking news . They meet up with an American reporter who is in search of a interview with a Taliban. Everything seems fine until a Taliban comes in their way, but towards the end the audience finds out that everything is not what it seems to be. The movie has it’s laughs here and there. John Abraham and Arshad Warsi gave a decent performance…..but the best part of wat ching the film were the seats. hmm cushion seats like the one Joey had in friends.

Anyway…thats it for now…

Here is a blog I’ve stumbled upon about opinions of an opinionated indian ….Now this is not about me being patriotic after reading this post…i’m not very patriotic..though I feel ashamed to say that I;m not very patriotic.Frankly I don’t have it everytime and I don’t believe in being patriotic only during a cricket match.

So I got up in this Saturday morning,deciding not to be boring anymore…..atleast to myself.Therefore I decided to go to the mall and read the comics over there at Landmark(….because I can’t buy it…..doesn’t mean I mustn’t read it)….so I reached the mall at around 15 hrs and since I couldn’t find For Tomorrow vol2,I read Frank Miller’s 300(soon to be made into a movie)……..review..

300 : The Book’s got good artwork(when good….don’t compare it to Jim Lee’s Hush or to Mark Waid’s Kingdom Come……this is totally different….good artwork compared to other Frank Miller books).The Graphic Novel tells us the story of King Leonidas and his 300 soldiers of Sparta on their way to conquer Persia .That’s how the name 300 came.All of us know the story of the Spartans;trained warriors by birth….yea by birth…whenever a male is born,he is checked and if seen not to be fit, he is discarded….just like that…like throwing away garbage,these Spartans are supossed to be hard hearted sonsofbitches .This story tells us about Honor, Duty, Glory, Combat and Victory….and Spartans. At the beginning I thought that the style of dialogues wasn’t right for thebook..but actually that didn’t matter,who knows how the spartans spoke English…(oh they didn’t speak English ,rite).

If anybody wants to buy it, don’t be heart-broken,face it now itself….it’s Rs.1267…but worth a collectible.

there was a scene in whinch the spartans where piling up the bodies of the persians and this Leonidas guy eating an apple…hmmmm…a tht….maybe I thought a more preferable scene would be him eating meat while his fellow spartans were piling up the bodies…or maybe him eating…human flesh..hmm heehee….(”sadist..sadist….reality check”…oh that was me speaking to myself again…iff u like my blog(what!!)..if u read my blog when i post any,there’d be some “self-spoken crap like these…so …don’t be alarmed….hota hai :-))

Review :ahhhh…..it’s a kind of movie which you’d rather wait for the original DVD to release and then think twice or maybe thrice and then type ‘You,me and dupree’ in the p2p and then wait for 4 days to download(if you have a slow connection) and then see the film……after that if you get a film which you wanted to have always….and then you find out that you dont have space in your system and then you see ‘you,me and dupree’..shift+del

and the next day I got up early in the morning…..not to church……went to see “Emperor’s New Groove”(yea…first a comic n then an animated movie)….and ….

Boom baby…

the movie still has it’s effect on me…..man I was laughing more than the kids beside me

and yea thats me after the movie…

People always abstain themselves from crying as best as they could (at least men do) and actually thinking about it …..crying should be only for a few seconds …maximum 60 seconds……but doing so ….sometimes our whole life passes through our mind and we continue crying…. it can be because of the sad things which happened in our life or maybe because we miss the so called ‘happy days’ or maybe the so called happy days is not actually happy or somebody else’s problem(makes u wonder y) or maybe this or maybe that….and so on….chain of thoughts can take you for a ride……………one thing I can say is that the fact we can cry is maybe (as for now) I can say is one of God’s greatest gift he(I like it when ‘he’) has given us

Just a thought.

U ever get a hunch that you’ll get flicked(don’t know the exact word when u get robbed by a pickpocket)….whatever….When I was in this bus(really crowded bus)….and man I had this reeeaaal bad feeling “What if somebody picks you”..(picks me???…hmmm)…at that very moment I kept my hand in my pocket in which my purse was kept(it had the rent money…that’s y) and when I got out of the bus I checked my other pocket(which I didn’t keep my hands in)……and

…..my phone’s gone

….and to my surprise I wasn’t that worried how any normal human being would be if one get picked…then I said to myself, “Welcome to Mumbai.”……(these things happen i guess)
It took a little time to get over the sarcasm and get into reality…….man I ‘m really starting to hate this place(don’t ask me what the place did)…..and the best way to get over this was to watch a funny movie ,so I went for a movie…’Pyaar ki side effects’

hmmm yea mallika sherawat……before seeing the movie I always wondered how this movie would turn out to be….U all saw Murder,right..so I thought that she gonna suck as usual..

Actually she wasn’t that bad…and Rahul bose….no comments…..I mean he’s always good…the kind of actor who’d show that Shah Rukh Khan sucks……and better than Saif also. I totally enjoyed this film even though it gives the feeling that you’ve seen some of it in High Fidelity,otherwise it is a well directed(not that gr8)well acted(oh yeah ….ranvir(mixed doubles) is also there)

One of my friends once said,”You always do what you feel like….it’s not good.”

Well(he doen’t know me very much……to him I’m just a wierd guy who walks a lot and who never used to go home like he used to go during our college days) …..how am I supossed to tell him that I’m trying to keep myself happy(get a life sooraj…..get a girlfriend….shhhh stop talking to yourself)

Yesterday I travelled in double decker bus (first time…that’s y). I always wanted to get in a double decker….and the view from the top was good…well I had to control myself otherwise the people around might have thought that I was some retarded 22 year old guy who acts like a kid travelling on double decker….that was done…n yea…felt nice….always wanted to go in one from when I was a kid.
and…..I have to buy myself one of those DC comics(collectors edition….those fat,thick comics which cost atleast 500 bucks)….the last time when I went to Landmark I made up my mind to buy one and omg!! the very look at the books makes me gaze at them….and then the prices leaves me in a bad state of mind(it’s just a comic sooraj……hey shut up)….but I will buy one….msot probably I’ll buy Kingdom Come….even though I already read it (thanks to www.bdcomics.net) I’d love to have the hard copy….good book…one those good books that was made well(it’s better than the Da Vinci code(not a avid novel reader)…..and another one I need is the comic version of ‘A Christmas Carol’(I know the story …I read this comic when I was a kid).Actually I am still searching for same comic…..didn’t find it yet(Amasom.com doesn’t have it)

these are the certain small things that make happy….hmmmm do people feel like this at all….or is it only me…..I know small things make people happy and forgotten easily….still it seems important….or maybe I’m just another fellow who only thinks of himself
