ROCKY BALBOA

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t how hard you hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done. Now, if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain’t you. You’re better than that!
Well that’s Rocky way of looking at life and is sure seen in sly’s eagerness making all his Rocky movies. This movie unlike the other rocky movies show us his life without Adrain, his wife. Oh! Rocky is doing well alright, he runs a restaurant yaps to all his customers about his previous fights and poses for photographs with their kids, but the fighter with a big heart is lonely. His son has left him because he doesn’t want to live under his father’s shadow, he wants to get respect as himself. Paulie still works at the meat shop. Then he he comes across lil’ marie( in one of the earlier movies rocky made her quit smoking) and cares about her(in a platonic way) and her son. He also buys a dog and names it punche
He feels even more empty cos he wants to fight ….He wants to be himself not just talk about his old fights. Therefore he gets his boxing license(only with a desire to fight small fights) and he gets a challenge from the ‘Champ’ for a exhibition fight for charity. That’s when his son tries to stop him from fighting cos if rock becomes a joke , it’ll affect his career and all. After a talk with his father he realises his mistake and joins Rocky along with Paulie(who gets a forced retirement) for the training.
To beat this guy, you need speed. You don’t have it. And you’ve got calcium deposits on most of your joints, so sparring is out.So what we’ll be calling on is blunt force trauma. Let’s start building some hurtin’ bombs
It was not a bad movie, really. It isn’t a cliche kind of Rocky movie. Decently shot and acted. Dialogues were not bad at all. It was hellva decent way to end the Rocky series.
